by Rosemary B. Althoff

Rated PG-13 by the author for very scary scenes and some French kissing

THE HOT MARBLE mixes science with the supernatural. Four people find themselves pitted against forces of evil that plan to take over two worlds. Lewis switches sides; Fred betrays everyone; Patrick wants to be the hero; and Gracie - can a little girl save the universe?

Although the story is imaginary, the science is real and so, I trust, is the supernatural.

Why Lewis got attacked by a demon

When people get too close to the edge of prayer and the supernatural, they are usually attacked by evil supernatural forces. These attacks can come through situations, or relationships, or directly. I chose the direct attack on this young man Lewis. He had a huge loss when his girlfriend, Rita, broke up with him. The pain drove him into a discipline of journaling, and even sometimes reading the Bible as his mother had recommended. He was beginning to think thoughts that the satanic forces didn't like, so they distracted him with an attack.

Here are some photos from a retreat I just went to on spirituality and prayer.
